Microsoft: Q2 FY26 Results (Quick Note)
Company Update (MSFT US) (Buy): Shares down 10%+ after results to 2024 levels, even with no real bad news.
Microsoft released Q2 FY26 (October-December) results after markets closed on Wednesday (January 28). Shares fell by as much as ~12% on Thursday, before finishing the day down ~10%, basically back to 2024 year-end levels:

Microsoft has been a top-5 position in our “Select 15” model portfolio since its inception at the start of 2023, and a key personal holding since 2014. We added modestly to our position on Thursday.
The results were strong and did not contain any real new support for the bear case. We continue to believe Microsoft shares will keep compounding for multiple years, as we described in our detailed review two weeks ago.
