Our “Select 15” model portfolio gained 8.2% in November and is up 21.1% as of December 13. We changed the rankings of two holdings, and recap recent developments for all 15.

Introduction

This is the December edition of our "Monthly Ranked Top Buys“ series, designed to present a model portfolio based on a selection of our most-preferred stocks, which we call our “Select 15” model portfolio.

This December edition focuses on developments since the end of October. We did not publish a November edition, due to bad time management on our part. In our normal process, our “Select 15” newsletter functions as a proving ground for our actual client letters; last month we skipped this step. However, as a recap of developments in October, we have published some comments on the market and our holdings in a separate article here.
