We are now writing the December edition and, to enable this to focus on events since November, we are publishing extracts from our client letters below as a recap of developments in the month before. Market Commentary

Equity markets worldwide fell again in October, with the S&P 500 entering a “correction”, having lost more than 10% from the peak in July. There has been a rally in November, with the S&P 500 regaining 4.1% as of market close on 6 November. I think the market is still more fearful than greedy at present, but I also see some near-term risks ahead.
