Estée Lauder (“EL”) released Q4 FY26 (April-June) results on Wednesday (August 19). Shares finished that day up 16.3%, and have risen by a total of 21.0% in three trading days; at $101.94, they are now 15.0% higher than a year ago:

EL had been a position in our “Select 15” model portfolio, but we reduced it (at $100.78) in October 2025 and sold the remainder (at $81.10) last month. While we had kept a Buy rating on the stock, these portfolio decisions were poor.
Q4 FY26 results and improved FY27 guidance show financial headlines are progressing in line with our thesis, though the underlying picture is more mixed, and investors seem to have priced in improvements beyond what has been guided.
